One of the year’s most anticipated Switch 2 releases, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, launches for Switch 2 on September 17. Those who want to secure their copy of the game early can preorder it now at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and GameStop, including a special Dagdan Collection edition that includes a bunch of physical extras. Nintendo first-party games don’t usually get deluxe or collector’s editions, so chances are this will be a popular release and could sell out quickly.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Standard Edition includes the base game. The physical version includes the full game data on the cartridge. Preorders are available at multiple online retailers, but the pricing appears to differ–for example, Amazon is listing the game for $70, while GameStop lists preorders for $80. Considering Nintendo’s official listing is $80, we assume Amazon’s price will change to match before release.
Digital preorders are also available at the Nintendo eShop. The digital edition is $70, saving you $10 compared to the physical edition–though, of couse, you lose out on the physical game box and cartridge

The $120 Dagdan Collection Edition of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave features the full game and selection of physical collectibles. Here’s a look at everything included:

Originally announced during a September 2025 Nintendo Direct, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is set in the same world as the Fodlan Series but during a different era where you take the role four new protagonists with their own unique storylines and play styles. It brings back the Noble, Myrmidon, and Hunter classes, as well as the weapon durability that was absent in Fire Emblem Engage. Series regulars will also recognize an older Sothis in this game, who previously appeared in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
